Ashley Baker 2005 drumchick@cox.net Marching Snare Drum, All Percussion, Drum Set Band has been a great challenge for me. It has taught me to step out of my comfort zone. I am left handed and that was a huge challenge because I had to learn how to play everything with my right hand. But overall band has been a life changing experience for me.

Trombone and Baritone These past four years have been eventful and fun.  I will always remember the fun times that I had in the band.  I will remember everything that I saw and did even the stuff that was looked down upon.  I am also working on the development of a video game that will not come out for three years but it will be worth the wait for those of you who play.  Have fun in all of your endeavors because I did.

Percussion I am currently attending ODU with a major in Music Education.  Recently I performed in Carnegie Hall and continue on with the ODU Wind Ensemble.  I was in the Kellam band all 4 years of my high school lifetime and plan to do the same at ODU.  I currently instruct the drumline for Kellam and it has been an honor to work with such talented and devoted students.  I hope my contributions to the school can always be present, and like I have always told everyone; just because band gets tough doesn't mean you quit, you use it to make yourself
stronger and make memories that will last a lifetime..
